DESCRIPTION: A new study supported by 32 food and agriculture groups aims to quantify the impact of the food and agriculture industries on the U.S. economy. Feeding the Economy estimates these industries’ contribution in terms of jobs, wages, and business taxes, recording a growth in total economic output of more than a trillion dollars since the 2023 report. An interactive map complements the study, providing data specific to states and congressional districts.
