DESCRIPTION: The latest Agricultural Outlook from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) provides ten-year projections for global, national, and regional agricultural commodity markets. It also examines regional trends in greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture and, for the first time, analyzes the role of food loss and waste. According to the report, global agriculture and food production will continue to grow, albeit more slowly than in the previous decade, in line with demographic trends. International agricultural trade will also expand but at half the pace of the past decade.
