Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture® has received a two-year grant of $700,000 from the Walton Family Foundation. The funding aims to enhance the capacity of Field to Market members to develop agricultural sustainability projects through initiatives such as sustainability leadership programs and improved access to resources. Additionally, it seeks to promote wider use of the Fieldprint Platform in a rapidly changing landscape. This innovative assessment framework evaluates the sustainability outcomes of 17 crops, including those represented by the U.S. Sustainability Alliance, such as corn, cotton, dry beans, dry peas, lentils, peanuts, rice, soybeans and wheat.
“Field to Market is grateful for the Walton Family Foundation’s continued partnership and support,” says Field to Market President Carrie Vollmer-Sanders, MBA. “We are excited to invest in the next generation of sustainability leaders, expand our reach, and catalyze even greater transformation across the agriculture industry.”

About the Walton Family Foundation
The Walton Family Foundation is, at its core, a family-led foundation. Three generations of the descendants of our founders, Sam and Helen Walton, and their spouses work together to lead the foundation and create access to opportunity for people and communities. We work in three areas: improving education, protecting rivers and oceans and the communities they support and investing in our home region of Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas-Mississippi Delta.
