SUMMARY: Launched at Climate Week in September and presented at COP29 in November, this report provides a roadmap for AIM for Climate.
DESCRIPTION: As the AIM for Climate program prepares to wind down in 2025, this report urges partners to continue its mission of addressing climate change and advancing global food security through increased investment and support for climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation. The report highlights barriers to investment, shares successful case studies, and provides four recommendations for partners to build on AIM for Climate’s success in 2025 and beyond. Recommendations range from increasing the inclusion of climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation in the design and implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to forging global partnerships to overcome challenges and scale up agricultural innovation.
