DESCRIPTION: This annual publication provides the latest statistics on America’s diverse farm sector, highlighting that in 2022, 97% of U.S. farms were family farms, accounting for 90% of production. In addition to data on financial performance, farm household income, and use of government assistance, this year’s edition explores, for the first time, differences in farm operations in 2022 based on the operator’s race and ethnicity.
